Skagit Preschool and Resource Center (SPARC) is a local non-profit organization serving Skagit County. We are a dedicated team of professionals who provide educational and therapeutic programs to serve children with special needs, birth to twelve years of age. We can provide your family with guidance, education, and expert support required for your child’s development.

The Birth to Three Program provides services for children, birth to three years of age, who have significant delays in one or more of the following skill areas:
The Preschool Program provides educational and therapeutic services to Mount Vernon School District’s preschool children with developmental delays.
Skagit Preschool and Resource Center (SPARC) is one of eighteen Neurodevelopment Centers (NDC) in Washington State. As an NDC, our professionals are credentialed with most insurance companies to provide therapy and related services to children with a developmental delay, disability or chronic medical condition in addition to any services they may already qualify for from their child’s school district. SPARC welcomes the opportunity to work with new families and their children.
Skagit County Parent to Parent program offers emotional support, resources, educational seminars and social/recreational events for families whose children have special needs. We utilize trained ‘Helping Parents’ to provide one-to-one connections. We want families to know that they are not alone. Our services are available across the lifespan, as well as, county-wide at no cost to families or professionals.
